Installation

Clear the store cache under var/cache and all cookies for your store domain.

Backup Your Data

Backup your web directory.

Download and Extract

Download and unzip extension contents on your computer and navigate inside the extracted folder.

Upload Files

If you use a different from default theme - be sure to rename app/design/frontend/default/default and skin/frontend/default/default folders to your store's values. Using your FTP client upload content of app and skin directory to your store root.

Set Up

Log in to Admin, go to SM Mega Menu (in the Top menu) then create list Menu Items. The following guide is step by step to create list Menu Items for your menu:

If you want to use Menu in the content of CMS Page, please go to CMS -> Page -> Edit Home page item ->Tab Content, add this code to a position:

If you want to show Mega Menu in the default menu of Magento site, please add following code to under of <layout version="0.1.0"> tag in megamenu.xml file at path app\design\frontend\default\default\layout\smartaddons\megamenu.xml

Configuration

The parameters are divided into the following groups:

• General Settings
• Module Settings
• Advanced Settings

GENERAL SETTING

• Enable - Using for enable/disable HTML out put of the module
• Title - You can change title of the module on here

MODULE SETTING

• Menu Group ID - You can enter ID of Menu group here
• Select Template - We support 2 templates for presenting of menu (Horizontal and Vertical)
• Select Effect - We support effects for Mega menu (CSS/Animation/Toggle)
• Effect Duration - The duration to play an animation effect
  
• Start Level - Level to start rendering the Menu at
• End Level - Level to end rendering the Menu at

ADVANCE SETTING

• Include jQuery - Show/not show jQuery for module

Uninstall

Backup your web directory.

After that, you can safely remove the extension files from your store.
