This guide will help you install SJ QuickView for Joomshopping step by step.

At the basic level, this plugin will require the following conditions:

  • Compatible with version Joomla: Joomla 3x
  • Compatible with JoomShopping 4.18.3

Prepare your plugin package

  • Firstly, you need to UNZIP file that you have downloaded. Please note that you should choose plug-in package that are suitable with each Joomla version which you have just downloaded
  • Secondly, install main plugin (extracted mod_ file):
  • In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager. In this page, click Browse, select plug-in package.
  • Then click Upload & Install

  • Please wait for plugin being installed, usually within several seconds.
  • Now go to Extensions -> Plug-in Manager, click Select Type box and choose the plug-in you have installed

  • Prepare to perform Plug-in Configuration

  • The Popup window will display when clicking on quickview button

3.2 Plugin Configuration

Note:We used the images of plugin’s installation on Joomla 3.x to illustrate

After installing, go to Extensions -> Plugin Manager and find SJ QuickView for Joomshopping to configure

SJ QuickView for Joomshopping plugin is configured in 2 main groups of parameters as following:

  • Plugin Options
  • Advanced Options

Let’s look at the parameters in detail:

Basic Options

    • Item class – Allow to input class product. Enter the string class(Note: Class HTML tag should contain a. And Mutiple module: the string seperated by character “,”)
    • Label Button – Allow to change name of button.
    • Auto Size – Allow to select auto size of Quickview. If you select “Yes” then it will set both auto-height and auto-width.


When Auto size = No, you can set width and height of popup with 2 param:

    • Popup Width – Allow to change width of Quickview, unit(percent).
    • Popup Height – Allow to change height of Quickview, unit(percent).
  • Display Overlay – Allow to select overlay OR not.
  • Open Effect – Allow to open effect with:
    • Elastic
    • Fade
    • None
  • Close Effect – Allow to close effect with:
    • Elastic
    • Fade
    • None

Advanced Options

  • Include jQuerry – Include jQuery OR not.
