The following documentation is applied for packages from version 1.0 of
SJ Content Category,
SJ VM Categories and
SJ K2 Category modules

REQUIREMENTS
1. Joomla! v1.7.x and Joomla! v2.5.x latest stable versions are highly recommended.
INSTALLATION
1. Prepare your module package (zip file; please UNZIP first if it is indicated in the file name)
2. All steps are in administrator of Joomla!:
- In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
In this page, click Browse, select module package.
- Then click Upload & Install
- Please wait for module being installed, usually within several seconds
- Now go to Extensions -> Module Manager, click Select Type box and choose the module you have installed
- Then click the module listed below to configure it as SETTINGS part hereafter
SETTINGS
Let's examine all the detail settings of SJ Content Category on Joomla! v2.5.x packpage
1. This module with sample layout is below:
- Category name: Title of the category showing
- Article Number: Show number of article
2. The parameters are divided up into the following areas:
- Basic Options

BASIC OPTIONS
- Module Class Suffix - Allow you to choose another CSS class that suits your template. Please refer here
- Module Width - Allow to set width of module
- Select a Theme - Allow you to choose one of 4 themes available
- Link Target - The opening window for link:
SOURCE OPTIONS
- Category - Choose categories that you want to show in this module
- Total Sub Categories - Allow to choose number of sub categories which you want to show in the module
- Number of category columns - Allow to set number of category columns
- Tabs events (For theme 4) - We support two events when active on tabs (Click and Hover)
CATEGORY OPTIONS
- Show Category Title - Show/hide the title of category
- Category Title Link - Enable/Disable link for category title
- Category Title Max Chars - Allow to set the number of characters in category title. Choosing -1 if you want to show full description.
- Category Title Color - Allow to change color of the category title
- Show Sub Category Title - Show/hide the title of sub category
- Sub Category Title Link - Enable/Disable link for sub category title
- Sub Category Title Max Chars - Allow to set the number of characters in sub category title. Choosing -1 if you want to show full description.
- Sub Category Title Color - Allow to change color of the sub category title
- Show Total Articles - Show/hide all articles
IMAGE OPTIONS
- Show Category image - Show/hide main image of article
- Link for Cat Image - Enable/Disable link for image of article
- Image Width/Height - Allow you to set the width/height of the image
- Image Background - Allow to set the color of image background
- Image mode - Allow you to choose the mode of image resizing

ADVANCE OPTIONS
- Include Jquery - Allow to include jQuery lib OR not
- Pre-text - The content to show at the top of module
- Post-text - The content to show at the end of module
- Caching
- Use Global: Turn on caching
- No Caching: Turn off caching
- Cache Times - The time to cache
