INSTALLATION

1. Prepare your module package (zip file; please UNZIP first if it is indicated in the file name)
2. All steps are in administrator backend of Joomla!:

In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
In this page, click Choose File, select module package.
Then click Upload & Install
Please wait for module being installed, usually within several seconds
Now go to Extensions -> Module Manager, click New and create one instance for module you have installed
Then configure it as SETTINGS part hereafter

1. Joomla! v1.7.x and Joomla! 2.5.x latest stable versions are highly recommended.

INSTALLATION

1. Prepare your module package (zip file; please UNZIP first if it is indicated in the file name)
2. All steps are in administrator of Joomla!:

In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
In this page, click Browse, select module package.
Then click Upload & Install
Please wait for module being installed, usually within several seconds

Include Subcategories - Choose category in subcategories OR not
Sort Order By - Select a field which you would like Items to be ordered by:
- Recently add
- Recently modified
- Most Views
- Hits
- Title
- Random
Source Filter - Allow to show items that meet some factors:
- All Articles
- None Frontpage
- Only Frontpage
Item Count - Allow to limit number of item which you want to show in the modules
Columns of Article - The number of columns will be showed on a page
Rows of Article - The number of rows will be showed on a page

Category Title Max Chars - The max number of characters in category title which can be showed in the module.
Category Title Link - Allow to enable /disable link of category title
Category Title Color - Allow to change color of Category Title
Show Title - Show/hide title
Title Color - Allow to change color of title
Title Max Characters - The max number of characters in title which can be showed in the module.
Link for Title - Enable/Disable for link of article titel
Show Description - Show/hide descriptoon
Description Max Charaters - The max number of characters in description which can be showed in the module.
Color of Article Description - Allow to change color of article description
Show short Description - Show/hide short description
Short Description Max Charaters - The max number of characters in short description which can be showed in the module.
Keep HTML - The module will keep HTML code in description if you choose "Yes"
Show Hits - Show/hide the number of views
Show Date - You can show/hide the Date which you creat the Item
Show Author - Show/hide author
Show Read More - You can Show/hide Read More
Read More Text - Allow to change text of Read More
Show See All - Show/hide See All
See all text - Allow to change text of See All
Custom URL - This param allows you to customize the link of each item. If you do not want to go to the detail page of item, you can change the link to another.

SJ Zoo Frontpage Userguide

This guide is intended for SJ Zoo Frontpage - Joomla! Module
When you buy the module the first time, you will have the latest version. After the first release, we will update this module regularly, then please check newer versions in here

REQUIREMENTS

1. Joomla! v1.7.x and Joomla! 2.5.x latest stable versions are highly recommended.

INSTALLATION

1. Prepare your module package (zip file; please UNZIP first if it is indicated in the file name)
2. All steps are in administrator of Joomla!:

In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
In this page, click Browse, select module package.
Then click Upload & Install
Please wait for module being installed, usually within several seconds
Now go to Extensions -> Module Manager, click Select Type box and choose the module you have installed
Then click the module listed below to configure it as SETTINGS part hereafter

SETTINGS

1. This module with sample layout is below:

Main title: Title of item showing, configured under Zoo Options
Ceated date: Show date which you create the item

2. The parameters are divided up into the following areas:

GENREAL SETTINGS

Module Class Suffix - Allow you to choose another CSS class that suits your template. Please refer more here
Zoo Application - Allow to choose one of 2 applications available: Page Application OR Blog Application
Zoo Category - Choose the source of category that is used with this module
Source filter - Allow to show items that meet some factors:

- None Special Items
- Only Special Items
Sort order by - Select a field which you would like Items to be ordered by:
- Priority
- Recently add

Total Items - Allow to set number of items which you want to show in the module
Select a theme - Please change theme which you want to show. We support 4 themes for your module.

Show Normal Title - Show/hide normal title
Show Main Title - Show/hide main title
Show Main Description - Show/hide main description
Show Normal Description - Show/hide normal description
Show Read More - You can Show/hide Read More
Title Color - You can change color of title of Item
Max length of title - The max number of characters in title article which can be showed
Max length of Main Description - The max number of characters in main description which can be showed
Max length of Normal Description - The max number of characters in normal description which can be showed
Module Width - You can set width by pixel for the module here.
Open Link
- Same window: Open the link in the same window
- New window: Open the link in the new window
Show Date - You can show/hide the Date which you created the Item

Show Item Title - Show/hide title of item
Item Title Link - Enable/Disable link for title of item

Show Product Description - Show/hide description of product
Desc Max Chars - The max number of characters in title of item description which can be showed in the module. If you want to unlimited length, you can choose "-1"

Custom URL - This param allows you to customize the link of each article. If you do not want to go to the detail page of article, you can change the link to another. In the textarea of Custom HTML, please use the following syntax::
- ArticleID_1:New_URL_1
- ArticleID_2:New_URL_2
- ...
With:
- ArticleID_1, ArticleID_2,... are ids of articles. You can see the Id column in Article Manager page
- New_URL_1, New_URL_2, New_URL_3 are links which you want to replace the orginal links. Format: http://www.newlink.com
