SJ Video Box Userguide

This guide is intended for Video Box module.
When you buy the module (or download free) the first time, you will have the latest version. After the first release, we will update this module regularly, then please check newer versions when informed

REQUIREMENTS

1. Joomla!, supported versions are listed in our intro page.

INSTALLATION

1. Prepare your module package (zip file; please UNZIP first if it is indicated in the file name)
2. All steps are in administrator backend of Joomla!:
  • In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
    In this page, click Choose File, select module package.
  • Then click Upload & Install

  • Please wait for module being installed, usually within several seconds
  • Now go to Extensions -> Module Manager, click New and create one instance for module you have installed
  • Then configure it as SETTINGS part hereafter

SETTINGS

1. This module with sample layout is below:

2. The parameters are divided up into the following areas:
  • Basic Options

BASIC OPTIONS
  • URL Video - Allow to set video sources to be used with module, each on one line. Please do as our guide to copy URL video.
  • Video titles - Allow to set text titles to be shown with videos above, URLs are on new lines
  • URL Thumbnail Images - Choose image source to be shown with videos above, each on one line
  • Thumbnail Description - Choose text to be used as description with videos above, each on one line
  • Layout - Set layout to be used, from 2 ones available
  • Autoplay Video - Allow to set auto play for videos OR not
  • Auto Play Slider - Allow to set auto play of navigation imageslider OR not, for layout 2 only
  • Show Image - Allow to show images of videos OR not
  • Image Width - Allow you to set the width of image
  • Image Height - Allow you to set the height of image
  • Show Title - Allow to show title OR not
  • Show Description - Allow to show small description OR not
  • Number Item per page - Allow to set the total videos per page, 1 to 6 available
ADVANCED OPTIONS
  • Module Class Suffix - Allow you to style module with specific CSS suffix

SJ Mega Menu Userguide

This guide is intended for SJ Mega Menu module.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Joomla!, supported versions are listed on our sale page.

INSTALLATION

1. Prepare your module package (zip file; please UNZIP first if it is indicated in the file name; there will be a plugin and a module zip file that you need them all in next step)
2. Install supportive plugin first (extracted plg_ file):
  • In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
    In this page, click Choose File, select plugin package.
  • Then click Upload & Install

  • Please wait for plugin being installed, usually within several seconds
  • Now go to Extensions -> Plugin Manager, click Select Type box and choose "system"
  • Then Enable the plugin named "Extra Menu Params"
3. Install main module now (extracted mod_ file):
  • In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
    In this page, click Choose File, select module package.
  • Then click Upload & Install

  • Please wait for module being installed, usually within several seconds
  • Now go to Extensions -> Module Manager, click Select Type box and choose the module you have installed
  • Then click the module listed below to configure it as SETTINGS part hereafter

SETTINGS

1. The parameters are divided up into the following areas:
  • Menu Options
  • Advanced Options
MENU OPTIONS
  • Select Menu - Allow you to select and use a menu created in Menu Manager, this menu will be used with Mega Menu, all items of it will have some Extra Params, see configuration below
  • Base Item - Allow you to select an active item for menu chosen above
  • Start Level - Set a menu level from which will be rendered by Mega Menu, start from 1 as highest level
  • End Level - Set a menu level until which will be rendered by Mega Menu, please use All for all sub-menu items
  • Show Sub-menu Items - Show sub-menu items OR not, if NO then two options above will be ingored
  • Event
    • Click: Collapse/Expand menu by click, used with all devices
    • Hover: Collapse/Expand menu by hover, for PC only
ADVANCED OPTIONS
  • Menu Tag ID - Set ID of the module, used for CSS or others
  • Menu Class Suffix - Allow you to choose another CSS class that suits your template
  • Alternative Layout - Allow you to choose custom alternative layout
  • Caching
    • Use Global: Turn on caching
    • No Caching: Turn off caching
  • Cache Times - The time to cache
2. The parameters when configuring an item of a menu chosen (called it YTC Menu, for instance):
This module with one sample menu layout is below:

  • Home: a sub-menu item of YTC Menu, showing with image and description
  • Menu List: an other item of YTC Menu, divided into 3 columns
  • Modules: a special item showing Login form module
When landing Menu Manager -> YTC Menu, each item will have an extra option panel. Below is how to configure these:

EXTRA MENU OPTIONS for one item
    Options for this item:
  • Description - Set description for this menu item, e.x. "just a menu"
  • Content Type - Set Mega type for this menu item
    • Default: show as default
    • Divider: show as a horizontal bar, to separate between menu item groups
    • Module: very powerful option, to show module(s) inside, used with "Module" option below
  • Module - Select module(s) to be shown, when above option = Module
  • Show Link - Show link(s) of module(s), used when module is Pinned (by using "Show as" option below)
  • Item ID - Set ID for this menu item, used for CSS or others
  • Item Class - Use this option to set width of this menu item, relatively to its parent level.
  • *Example: Set col6, its width will be 50% of its parent whose with is cols12 set by "Column Class" option (see "Column Class" below)
    *Note: If icon of this item available, add -ico24, -ico32 OR -ico48 to this as well, in which 24, 32 and 48 are dimensions of square icon used
  • Float Right - If Yes, this item will be align:right with other Level-1 items

    Options for dropdown box
    (which contains all sub-menu items when being clicked or hovered):
  • Fixed Width - Set width (px) of dropdown box of this item
  • Column Class - Set cols5, cols9 or cols12 by which this item will be divided into 5, 9 OR 12 columns from Fixed Width above, this option is used with "Item Class" option of this sub-menu items
  • *Example: Set cols9, its width will be divided into 9 equal columns. If you want one of its sub-menu items will be 33%-width of this, please set its "Item Class": col3
  • Show as - Allow to choose how sub-menu items will be shown: Dropdown/Flyout OR Pinned
    • Dropdown or Flyout: Dropdown box will be shown after being clicked or hovered, with direction as Fly option below
    • Pinned: Show sub-menu items as being embeded inside
  • Fly - Allow to set direction for collapsing/expanding dropdown box: Left or Right, relatively to its parent level.

SJ MiniCart Pro Userguide

This guide is intended for SJ MiniCart Pro module
When you buy the module the first time, you will have the latest version. After the first release, we will update this module regularly, then please check newer versions when informed here.
Then following this documentation to use this module, applied for version 1.0 and later.

REQUIREMENTS

- Joomla! v1.7.x or Joomla! 2.5.x latest stable version is highly recommended.

- VirtueMart components: 2.0.24

INSTALLATION

1. The installation process for this module will happen in administrator of Joomla! as following:
  • In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
    In this page, click Choose File, select mod_sj_minicart_pro and you need to install plg_sj_ajax_minicart_pro package (Zip file; please UNZIP first if this is indicated in the file name)
  • Then click Upload & Install

  • Please wait some time for module being installed, usually within several seconds!
  • Navigation to Extensions -> Module Manager, click Select Type box and choose SJ MiniCart Pro
  • And navigation to Extensions -> Plug-in Manager and choose System - Sj Ajax Minicart Pro -> Enable this plugin
  • You can change parameters as the SETTINGS part hereafter.
2. Here, you can preview layout of module SJ MiniCart Pro for reference: 

  • Cart Detail: This panel will show up when customer hovers over the arrow-down button.
  • Product List Area, Footer Cart and Image: All these can be tweaked, see this part.

SETTINGS

Now we will examine all parameters of SJ MiniCart Pro.

SJ Minicart Pro module are configured in 3 groups of parameters following:
  • Basic Options
  • Layout Options
  • Advanced Options
BASIC OPTIONS
  • Open Link - Set target for links:
    • New window
    • Same window
    • Popup
  • Cart Detail Width - Allow you to change width of the Cart Detail area.
LAYOUT OPTIONS

Product List Options
  • Product List Display - Allow you to choose if Cart Detail shown OR not when hovered (recommend Yes)
  • Product List Max Height - You can set the height of product list area here; higher is useful when customer selects many products into the cart
  • Product Label Display Allow you to show the title of each product OR not
  • Product Attribute Display - Allow you to show attribute of each product OR not
Coupon Form Options
  • Coupon Form Display - Allow you to show coupon form OR not
  • Coupon Label Display - Allow to to show the label of coupon form OR not (the 'COUPON' text)
Footer Cart Options
  • Go To Cart Display -  Allow you to show Go To Cart button OR not
  • Checkout Display -  Allow you to show Checkout button OR not
  • Total Price Display -  Allow you to show Total Price information OR not
Image Options
  • Image Resize Mode - Allow you to choose the mode of image resizing (see illustrations by hovering the text 'Image Resize Mode' in the module):
    • None
    • Center
    • Fill
    • Fit
    • Strech
  • Output Format - Allow to set format for all output file:
    • Default - if you want to keep original format
    • GIF
    • JPEG
    • PNG
  • Image Width -  Allow you to set the width of image of each product listed in Cart Detail
  • Image Height - Allow you to set the height of image of each product listed in Cart Detail
  • Image Background - Allow to set the color of image background. This is applied for showing images without full background. If the image with full background, you can see nothing to change
ADVANCED OPTIONS
  • Module Class Suffix - Allow you to choose another CSS class that suits your template
  • Alternation Layout - Allow to use a different layout from the supplied module or overrides in the templates
  • Include jQuery - Allow you to include jQuery from this module or another one

2.3 Yt Shortcodes

  • In Administrator of Joomla!, go to Plugin Manager -> Make sure Yt Shortcodes is enabled. This is list of shortcodes that you can use to style content:

3. Imperative Plugins-Installation and Configuration

You need to install: Yt Framework, Yt Shortcodes and SJ Content Related News Plugin.
- Yt Framework supports templates in adding extra parameters for Mega Menu and compress CSS/JS/HTML when optimizing code. This guide is about installing Yt Framework, other plugins are the same

3.1 Installation

  • Now you install this plugin
  • STEP 1: In Administrator on Joomla!, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
    On this page, click Choose File button, choose plugin file (extracted from extensions zip file) from then click Upload & Install

  • STEP 2:Now, go to Enable Yt Framework in Extension/Plug-in Manager

3.2 Configuration of Yt Framework

  • After installing Yt Framework, go to Extension -> Plug-in Manager and choose to configureYt Framework:

  • Configure Yt Framework to show SJ Help with Report Bugs, Template Tutorials and YT Framework Tutorials or include jQuery into template

    3. Imperative Plugins-Installation and Configuration

    You need to install: Yt Plugin.
    - Yt Plugin supports Yt Framework for adding extra parameters used with Mega Menu and to compress CSS/JS/HTML when optimizing code.

    3.1 Installation

    • Now you install this plugin
    • STEP 1: In Administrator on Joomla!, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
      On this page, click Choose File button, choose plugin file (extracted from extensions zip file) from then click Upload & Install

    • STEP 2:Now, go to Enable Yt Plugin (for Yt Framework) in Extension/Plug-in Manager

    3.2 Configuration of YT Plugin (for Yt Framework)

    • Yt Plugin supports Optimizing CSS/ JS/ HTML and support showing Mega Menus nicely. You can see how to optimize CSS/JS/HTML in Configuration part above and how to use YT Menu Params for styling any Menu Items by remarking an example:

    4. Other Extensions - Installation and Configuration

    After creating articles and data..., you have to install and configure extensions to have a Website with functions and modules as our pre-made demo.

    4.1 Install
