Why IE8 was dropped out
Based on user experience, it can be shortly listed some main reasons for stopping working with IE8:
- It's slow
- It's heavy to load
- It uses much memory
- It's more virus prone
- It doesn't support latest web technologies: HTLM5, CSS3...
Since 1st September, we will not work with IE8 anymore. It means we will no longer guarantee full functionality or test and fix specified bugs in IE8. It may be inconvenient for IE8 users but we're sure that this change will bring out more better performance products to our customers. Besides, it is great that all our current Joomla templates can work well with Internet Explorer 8. You can visit our Joomla template showcase page to find out the most suitable ones.
