For those interested the file that needs editing is helper_base.php on line 99 change split to explode.

Also,

When I use the image resize mode functions of the module, the module looks to retrieve those images from a folder administrator/cache/resized/ which contains no images. Is this folder in the admin section correct?

If I just use the the none function in resize mode the image appears as normal.

I'm using a custom template that I've made for J4.
The module is SJ Basic News for J4.

Yes, I'm using PHP 8 as everyone should be by now on J4. Is this not something you guys should fix?

We are on the upgrade list of themes to php8 , because SJ Basic News is a free theme , so it is not prioritized for this upgrade , please wait , we will plan the upgrade for It
