I'm trying to create a vertical menu, where the main buttons are color coded to our products. ( One menu link is blue and the subs are blue, the next is red and the subs are red, the next is gray and the subs are gray, etc.) I've done this with other menus just by adding .red .blue .gray to the end of the css class name which controls that menu item, then entering " red", " blue"," gray" in the "Link CSS Style" section under Link Type Options in the menu manager for that menu item. However, I can't figure out which line of css I need to add the .red to in order for this to work with YT Mega Menu. I've inspected the css with Chrome and have been able to make other changes that I wanted, but NOTHING seems to work for this alteration. I can change the entire menu's background color, but I want to be able to make each item have a different background color.
I've attached a screenshot with another menu above which shows what I want and the YT Mega Menu below, without the color shifts.
Please help! I can't provide a url, as this is only on a local system for development.
