I will explain you what i have done so far.

After install quick setup, i renamed all 'latin1_swedish_ci' to 'utf8_general_ci' in database.
your guide

installed K2 companent and transfered K2 database from another one.

i edited "my_site\modules\mod_finder\helper.php " as you told.

and somtimes i recieve these erros, especially on index.php.
