I downloaded your free template this morning, installed it on a new Joomla 1.7 site. (php 5.3.
I get a weird behaviour of the pictures in articles in the SJNews template. (png and jpg as well)

The picture shown is the same as the logo, a bit larger.

Please change

height: 37px;
width: 167px;

to your size
