Unfortunately it doesn't work. In this way I can change menu item "Home" but not word "Home" from category bar. To see what I called "category bar" please check attached print screen (categories links inside red frame).

Sorry, my website is not published yet, so i can't give You url/account.
I can detect this issue on fresh SJNews installation, don't need my url/account, just do steps below:
1. Manu manager -> About Joomla!
2. Edit menu item "Login Form"
3. change "Parent Item" from "---Users component" to "Menu Item Root"
After this, when I'm trying to log in to my website using wrong login/password, apears log in site from "Fruit Shop Sample Site"!
