TOPIC: Module Help

Module Help 12 years, 4 months ago #4143

We purchased this template and had it installed (works great!). Now we are working on getting it modified for business. Is there any step by step instructions that will help us configure each module and how to customize the page?

Is there a way that useres can log in and submit articles to us?

Thanks!!

Hi james averill,

I think that you should refer to the user guide for each extension again.

Because each extensions has some different features, you can configure them according to your mean on the site.

About the article submission, you can create a new menu item having menu type as "Create Article" and Access as "Registered" in the menu manager.

Example: Menu item "Submit an Article"

Thanks

I have tried to find the user guide but all I can find is instructions on how to install it.

Thanks again!

Hi james averill,

You can see the positions of template by adding the parameter ?tp=1 behind the URL, e.g. your_site_link/?tp=1
The following parameters can be used: 0=normal, 1=horiz, -1=no wrapper.

Thenceforth, you can assign the modules to the suitable positions on your template.

Thanks
