TOPIC: Module position not found

Module position not found 11 years, 2 months ago #12378

Hi, I've installed the template on a beta site.
I'm not using the quickstart package because I've a lot of modules and components istalled before template choose.

I can't find the position you point in this example image demo.smartaddons.com/templates/joomla25/sj-mobi/images/yt-positions.jpg

My main content seems to hide left column and I can't set module to appear in left position.
I've some other problems on settings position for other modules.

Can you point me wich position use do to have a site like your demo?
thank you.

Dear enrico maria fiorani,

If you don't install the quickstart package, module positions of the template will not appear in your List module positions. So, if you want set a module appear on the template, you can't choose in drop-down list but you have to ENTER that position manually.

Thanks

Mmmm ... doesn't work.
I try to publish a simple login form in "position-5" but nothing happen.
Only modules in position-7 and it's hidden by main component.
Can you take a look please?
Thank you.
Ciao.

Ok, a little correction: positions works, BUT the layout isn't "fluid" and all modules come one under others ...

Re: Module position not found 11 years, 2 months ago #12411

It's me again
By comparing your online template and my beta installation, I get that some modules has class "grid1" or "grid-1".
I've try by inserting some of them in my module and something start to work ... but I'm far from get the same result as in your online demo.
Can you tell me WHAT changes I've to do and WHERE?
Tnah you.

Dear enrico maria fiorani,

When you insert module class, please add a white space before the class, example:
'grid1' => ' grid1' or 'grid-1' => ' grid-1'

Thanks
