Sirs,
We are facing a problem in the installation of K2 component in SJ world news.
Lat week we got the following error message after tried to install K2 component.
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
Above error appeared after installation of SJ world news K2 component , quick-start and extension modules.
Template only can be installed without any error.
We submit a Support ticket and got the following reply...
" About SJ world news K2 component, you have to extract it, copy to override to K2 component folder.
The quick-start package, you have to extract and install as a site. You can install it in backend of joomla.
About extension modules, you have to extract it, install every modules in there. "
Accordingly, we have extracted and copied it in com_k2 as we couldn't find any k2 folder.
Still it is not working.
We have submitted another support ticket as follows:-
Can you please send me the exact path in joomla 2.5 file to copy the k2 component(com_k2)
We haven't received any reply until now.
Is it a trick by smart-addons to approach them for installation services ..??
Is there anybody who can help in this matter?
