Iam very sorry but I dont totally understand what do U mean "creating a new virtuemart database" And googling didnt give me the answer:-) Can U please tell how to create a new database in virtuemart!

When you change the language, maybe you do not see any category and product in the virtuemart component.
In this case, you can create categories and products again.
