There is no category for SJ Sports Store. Is it because it is such a buggy template?

Been trying to get help on it, by sending tickets or even some answers within the forum, but very very slow in coming.

My site is goredevelopments.com/jupgrade/ and having issues with the slideshow on my home page. It is very pixelated and I saved the image to 1960x520. As well as the image called within the module SJ Procucts. It does not crop proportionately. So the image appears skewed.

Is there a fix? I would prefer to use this template than to switch to another competitor.
