1. An error occurred while updating the template SJ G2Shop from Joomla 3.6.5
2. I cannot download updates to the template SJ G2Shop from the site.

Dear sir,

What is the error message while updating the template SJ G2Shop from Joomla 3.6.5? You can't update theme from admin, you need download the package and reinstall it.
