Can someone tell me the difference between price.virtuemart_product_price_id and price.product_price? In fixing the 0.00 price issue this came up. I need to know how I can have my virtuemart setup use price.product_price throughout my virtuemart set up so the rules (pricing changes) that display with price.product_price show up throughout the system.

Because the core of latest virtuemart version is changed much, we have to change code to display the price correctly on the module.
