I have a problem with my menu. When all the itens don't fit in one line (when scaling the browser window), it creates a second line, and the itens that don't fit go to that line, without the background color. The list mode menu only shows up when the window size is reduced alot (about the screen size of a smartphone). If possible, I would like this list mode to show as soon as the menu items don't fit on the menu area (basically i would like them not to stack like they are currently doing).

I had the same problem, but its not possible to make so much menu in one line. Its necesary put the login and the languege filter in other position, and make this:

In the file templates\sj_plus\css\template-red.css (you chose your color) in the line 582 you must find this code:

#yt_menuwrap #yt_mainmenu {
position: static;
}

Just change for this:

#yt_menuwrap #yt_mainmenu {
position: static;
width: 1000px; // here you mus put the size you want
}
