Please go to the file : your-site/modules/mod_sj_image_slideshow/assets/css/styles.css and find:

.image-sl .imsl-item img {
    box-shadow: 0 0 0 #000;
    max-width: 100%;
    width: 100%;
}

=> Edit to:

.image-sl .imsl-item img {
    box-shadow: 0 0 0 #000;
    max-width: 100%;
    width: auto;
}
