When I set the Description Maxlength under Item options in SJ K2 Frontpage to something small e.g 20, I will like the description to be followed by 3 dots (...)

How can I achieve this?

Our module will auto add 3 dots when your description is too short.

That is exactly the point; the 3 dots are not being auto added.

Please take a look at tribune.com.ng (see Entrepreneurship+ and Arts & Culture sections) on the homepage. The descriptions don't have the dots.
