Hi,

I have been using YT Shortcodes for a while including the YouTube video shortcode.

This seemed to work fine when I first installed it but I noticed that the web page size seemed to double for no reason.

I have replaced the YouTube YT Shortcode with the AllVideos plugin and the web page has reverted to it's normal size.

I have lost confidence in YT Shortcodes and won't be using it in the meantime.

Hopefully there is a reasonable explanation.

Sorry, I have removed YT Shortcodes from the website in the meantime.

I created a temporary Joomla demo website as a sanity check, installed YT Shortcodes and the AllVideos plugin, enabled these on separate web pages but was unable to reproduce the problem. In fact, the YT Shortcodes seems to make less calls to the database and loads faster:



I'm not sure what went wrong on the other website. Sorry to waste your time.
