TOPIC: [SOLVED] Full width menu

[SOLVED] Full width menu 8 years, 9 months ago #27247

I installed the quickstart on a local server using WAMP. I made the Header full width. No issues there, but would like to have the main menu under the header image full width. I changed the width of the column, it looks like .col-md-9, to 100% which it was 75% before, works fine , but breaks the rest of the page down. I unpublished the search module for K2 tools and the menu goes away. I'm not a coder, i can change colors using firefox and inspect element and go to the css but beyond that, it's a bit confusing. Can someone help a little? I'm sure it's something easy.

I love the template, thanks. Hope I can get it to look the way i want it. Also, second question, how can i repeat a background image on the page.

Thanks everyone, you guys rock.

Read the tutorial on adding a module position, bu the code is way different for the iMag template that I see. The menu looks like it's in the header, it stays stationary while the rest of the site scrolls. I added the module ok, but it wouldn't show at first, then i added like .col-md-9 because the other positions had something similar and it showed up. but how would you put the menu in it. I guess i could create a new menu and assigne it to that module, but then it would be just links, correct?

TIA

Not add, but change to see what happens. I then open the file where the original code is located, like template-teal.css or bootstrap.min.css. I fixed it. now need to get the mobile version to look right or just not have the mobile version. So one problem solved, off to another. But thanks for the help. Know how to not have the mobile version to show, just full site? lol
