I am having trouble getting VM sub categories to show up.

If you click at the menu item women...hair pretties...small clips nothing shows up. This category (small clips) in VM, has mulitple sub categories. Why don't the VM sub categories show up so that someone can select the sub categories from the browse page? Thank you.

Please try to check this issue with default joomla template to sure it works normally, or send us the admin and ftp account in Website Information to check directly?
