I am using the SJ K2 Filter Module to allow my visitors to select K2 items published within a date range - however, the filter module seems to select all K2 items with a MODIFIED date within the range - I would expect it to select all K2 items with a PUBLISHED date within the range.

Is there a setting for that? Or perhaps the behaviour is intended/unintended?

Ah, no, I am afraid this is not solved.

But actually it is a different problem with the date range search.

When my website visitors search in a date range, the SJ Filter finds all K2 items with MODIFICATION DATE in that range - it should find all K2 items with PUBLISH DATE in that range I think?

I will explain. This website is a historical archive of event reports. So the report is created for publication on the date in question, but at a later time (or even before the event), the reports are edited and details or photographs added. So the modification date could be any date before or after the publication.

If my visitors search on reports from February 2017 for example, the filter should find K2 items PUBLISHED in February 2017. But it finds K2 items with MODIFICATION DATE in February 2017.

I think that is wrong?
