Joomla 4.0 Release Plan
There is no detail plan for Joomla 4 Besides, Joomla 3.9 will be released alongside Joomla 4 as the last minor release of Joomla 3. Joomla 3.9 will continue to be supported for 2 years giving you plenty of time to plan your migration to Joomla 4 and update your extensions to Joomla 4 compatible versions.
